Doctors Without Borders or Médecins Sans Frontières is an international humanitarian organization that provides medical aid to people in over 60 countries stricken by war, natural disaster, poverty, and epidemics.I have chosen to do my Independent Study on Doctors Without Borders because I believe that it is such an important cause because injury and disease knows no boundaries. No matter who you are, your health could at any time be jeopardized for any number of reasons. Health care needs to be accessible around the world for every person and Doctors Without Borders is helping to achieve this goal.Through this blog I hope to gain a better understanding about this organization for myself, and to inform others about it as well.
